Fred Kenney, Feed My Starving Children Organizer
Initiatives of "With Love from Vermont"

For several years Fred Kenney has organized a Vermont location for Feed My Starving Children.  Fred has used the gym at Albert D. Lawton Middle School in Essex as the center piece for this impactful community effort to package food.  You can read about the group below, and follow With Love From Vermont on Facebook here.    Essex Rotary has provided several teams of four who spend two fast moving hours at ADL packing food to be shipped to people in countries facing crises and food shortages.  Amy Jackman has coordinate the Essex Rotary participation in this great annual event in October.

With Love From Vermont is a Vermont non-profit that organizes and raises funds fro an annual Mobile Pack event by Feed My Starving Children (www.fmsc.org). The local effort is organized by individuals from a multitude of churches in Northern Vermont. It is our aim to bring together churches, groups, businesses, and individuals to accomplish a goal: Together we can share the love of God by providing meals to individuals in developing countries that are suffering from malnutrition.

The Mobile Pack is normally held the third weekend in October each year. Volunteer registration opens on September 1.

To pack food, we have to buy the food. With Love From Vermont holds fundraising events throughout the year and donations can be made through the FMSC website (be sure to designate our Mobilepack) to raise the amount needed to purchase the food to be packed.
