Overview of Essex Town Budget and Ballot for Town Meeting - March 5 - 6

On the evening of Monday, March 5 across Vermont the unique and remarkable tradition will again play out.  In Essex Town, voters will gather at Essex High School for a community dinner and a meeting to set the town budget.  The following day voters will go to the polls to elect citizens to serve on the Town's Selectboard.  Essex Rotary member Max Levy chairs the Town's Selectboard, the group that proposes the budget to voters.  Max will give an abbreviated (15 to 20 minute) presentation on the proposed budget before we move on to our regular Committee meetings.
