Rotary International Foundation & Hands to Honduras Tela

Dave Johnson, Chair of the Essex Rotary's Foundation Committee, will provide background on Rotary International's Foundation.

This year, Dave has invited Linda Gilbert of the Shelburne-Charlotte Rotary Club and founder of Hands to Honduras Tela, to explain how Rotary International's Foundation has support it's work.  

Over the course of 13 years, H2HT has constructed school classrooms and latrines, medical buildings and health centers, and municipal facilities.  The H2HT humanitarian services include health brigades, educational seminars, school and athletic supplies and many other projects.  H2HT has developed many relationships along with a deep appreciation for the people and culture of Tela.
