National Committee
From our local fundraising events our National Committee supported the following:
Service Dog Training: In collaboration with the Vermont National Guard and a local service dog trainer, established and funded a training program that pairs a military veteran with a service dog
Ronald McDonald House: Helping families with sick children stay near UVM Medical Center at no cost
Sentinel Rock State Park – Westmore, VT: Funding for 50% of the audio education system (i.e. sound post system) for visitors in partnership with the State of Vermont Park System & the Westmore Community. Audio includes the song "Sunset Rock" in honor of a Robert Decker.
Senior Citizen Holiday Lunch: In partnership with the Knights of Columbus and Sodexho of St. Michael’s College, Essex Rotary funds and serves lunch to over 200 local senior citizens at the Champlain Valley
Maple Leaf Treatment Center: Support for residency program to overcome substance
Homeward Bound Furniture Delivery: Distribution of industrial used furniture to the Northeast Kingdom
Groton Community Club: Part of Rotary Consortium (Wells River, Montpelier) to replace gym floor in elementary school
