Expansion of Essex CHIPS Mentoring Program to all EWSD Schools in 4 - 8 Grades
One of Essex Rotary's newest members, Eliza Kuchuk, is leading the Essex CHIPS initiative to expand the mentoring program. She will describe the expansion and provide members another way to pursue our goal of Service Above Self.
How do you make a difference? Open the doors for tomorrow's leaders by becoming a mentor today. FriendCHIPS Youth Mentoring is a school-based mentoring program that empowers students at Essex Westford School District to make healthy life choices that enable them to maximize their personal potential.
After successfully mentoring at Founders Memorial School and Essex Middle School for 8 years, FriendCHIPS is excited to announce that we will be expanding to all EWSD schools in 4th-8th grade. In order to succeed in this mission, we are in need of even more mentors. Mentoring is a unique opportunity as not only does it create change in youth by increasing self-esteem, resiliency, and school engagement, but it also makes a difference in the mentor's life. Be a mentor and change two lives today.
