"Graduation" for Veterans who have new Service Dogs

For several years Essex Rotary has supported programs that help Veterans gain access to service dogs, campanions who help deal with the stress of life after military service.  

 

Recently, Essex Rotary efforts focus on supporting the "Pet Program" of the Blue Star Mothers of Vermont, an initiative that helps train service dogs for area veterans.  We will hear about the training program - and from a veteran who has just received his dog.

This initiative is the largest charitable initiative of Essex Rotary, except for our scholarship program.
