Zoom: Megan Camp, VP @ Shelburne Farms
Programming at Shelburne Farms

As Vice President and Program Director at Shelburne Farms, Megan Camp has responsibilities for both local and international programs.  Many Essex Rotary members are very familiar with the incredible programs the Farms offers, including a petting zoo for kids (and adults), insights into cheese making, and so much more.  The "more" includes international sustainability efforts, which accounts for the connection between Megan, Shelburne Farms, and Steve Schmida's Resonance.  Megan will summarize the work of Shelburne Farms on local and international sustainability projects.

Megan Camp Bio:  Starting as a student intern, she has been an energetic, creative force in the evolution of the Farm’s programs, and has taken those programs into partnerships around the world. She is a recognized leader in Farm to school and the importance of local food systems. Megan has served as a consultant/partner for the Institute for Sustainable Communities, working with national and international education for sustainability projects. Megan was recently appointed by the Governor’s office to the Vermont Working Lands Enterprise Board.
