Annual Speech Contest
District Speech Contest purpose is to help youth, community and Rotarians to understand, encourage and foster the principles and values of Rotary.
Students from Essex High School (EHS) and Mount Mansfield High School (MMU) are eligible to participate.
Principles like the Service Above Self; the 4-Way Test*; and the annual theme of Rotary International are used for speech topics.
Join your local high school and local Rotary Club's efforts to expand public speaking opportunities for students.
*4-Way Test of the things we think, say or do: Is it the truth? Is it Fair to all concerned? Will it build Good will and Better Friendships? Will it be Beneficial to all concerned?
