Meeting Recap

Greetings fellow Rotarians. Today our Members broke out in groups to discuss ways in which our Club should be allocating the charitable funds we have left. Our Members were particularly tasked with ideas for how to utilize the $5,000.00 that was generously donated to us by Vermont Mutual Insurance Group to be used for projects directly related to COVID relief.

COVID Survey – Part 2

Thank you to the 21 Members who have participated in our second COVID survey. This number, however, represents less than 40% of our total membership. In order to accurately assess the future direction of our Club, we need to get as close to a 100% response rate as possible. With that in mind, we would ask those of you who have not yet participated to please take the survey as soon as possible. It should only take a few minutes of your time and the responses you provide are vital in determining how our Club will operate. The survey will be open until 12:00pm on Friday, August 7th. We will report the results to the Club at the August 12th meeting.

Rotary International and COVID-19

In the past several months we have learned what Clubs across the globe are doing to fight the COVID pandemic. Each day, Rotarians are stepping up to provide financial and hands-on assistance to those affected by COVID. None of this would be possible, however, without the generous support of the Rotary Foundation. As the financial arm of Rotary International, the Foundation has disbursed over $20 million (US) to help Clubs finance COVID recovery and assistance projects. This is why donating to the Foundation is so important and truly makes a difference to those in need.

Upcoming Meeting Schedule: Wednesday, August 5 2020 – Our speaker will be Sarah Chaffeee who will be on hand to discuss the recent changes to the local Girl Scout organization.
