Meeting Recap

Greetings fellow Rotarians. Our speaker today was Sarah Chaffee who was on hand to discuss the recent changes to the Girl Scouts of Vermont. The biggest change is that the local organization is now consolidated under an organizational umbrella that covers both Vermont and New Hampshire. Now known as Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains, the organization’s central office is located in Berlin, New Hampshire with a regional office in Williston. COVID Survey – Part 2

Just as a reminder, the deadline for completing the current survey is rapidly approaching. If you have not done so already, please take the survey as soon as possible as we are trying to map out the future direction of the Club based on the input of our Members. The survey will be open until 12:00pm on Friday, August 7th. We will report the results to the Club next week.

Food Shelf Donations Needed

The Heavenly Food Pantry would appreciate these donations: Canned green beans, Canned corn, Liquid dish soap, Shampoo, Deodorant, Jam or jelly. You can donate food Monday-Friday from 8:30 am to 1 pm. There is a metal cupboard just inside the door on the Church St. side where donations can be left. Additionally, there is a blue bin outside of the 1 Church Street entrance into which non-perishable donations may be deposited anytime.

Upcoming Meeting Schedule: Wednesday, August 12 2020 – Our speaker will be Duncan McNamara, who will be discussing the upcoming Miles for Meals Challenge.
