A Lead Forcaster for National Weath

Marlon Varasamy is a Weather Forcaster for the National Weather Service (NWS), based at the Burlington Airport.  NWS is part of NOAA - the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.   He has worked for NWS for over 11 years.  Prior to that he served in the US Airforce. 

He will bring Essex Rotary up to speed on NWS forcasting capacity in Vermont and the role played in the region.  This will be a chance to Rotary members to complain - upfront and personally - to one of the folks who are right about 99% of the time!! 

Marlon lives in Essex Junction.  His daughter graduated from Essex High School last year - and is attending school in Boston, where Marlon grew up.
