Role and Impact of Vermont Food Bank in Addressing Food Insecurity in Vermont

John Sayles is the Executive Director of the Vermont Food Bank, the principal organization distributing food to Vermont's many local food banks.  The core function of the Vermont Foodbank is to provide food to a network of 215 food shelves, meal sites, senior centers and after-school programs.  To accomplish this core activity, the Vermont Foodbank operates three distribution centers in Barre, Rutland and Brattleboro.
